(11/21/08) The Klamath Sheriff's office is looking for the person or persons responsible for making a bomb threat at Chiloquin high school.
A janitor at the school found a written note Thursday evening. Police have been searching for explosives, and for handwriting that matches that on the note.
Principal Doug Wilson says the school is seriously looking for a suspect.
"Currently we're offering a thousand dollar reward for any information that would lead to the identity of the person or persons who left this threatening note."
Chiloquin parent Robert Lindstrom has other worries.
"my main concern is, they shouldn't have let them in the school.
They knew about this last night." Klamath County Sheriff's Deputy Clint Wells says the incident will continued to be monitored.
"We've conducted a thorough search of the building, we will be doing more searches over the weekend."
The note indicated that a bomb was set to go off at one-thirty on Monday afternoon.
Police are reviewing surveillance video from the general area where the note was found.
Officials have closed the school on Monday.
