(7/15/10) Ashland electric motorcycle producer Brammo has come up with a new model released to the world today. The “Empulse" is Brammo's second gas-free sport bike. The Ashland manufacturer rolled its pre-production model of the bike out today for public viewing. The bike is expected to have more speed and range than last year's model called the “Inertia.” A spokesperson at Brammo said all three “Empulse” models of the bike will be capable of reaching 100 miles an hour. This most recent production is designed to compete against Ducati and BMW bikes. The “Empulse" is battery powered and depending on the model selected will have a range between 60 and 100 miles. The models will cost between ten and fourteen thousand dollars. The company is taking orders now but customers will not be taking delivery until next year about this time.Best Buy is also selling the bikes.
